We provide skip hire for domestic and commercial customers across the Black Isle. Whether you’re clearing a property, carrying out refurbishment work or managing waste from a construction project, we’ll help you choose a suitable skip and arrange delivery and collection.
The right skip size depends on the type and volume of waste being removed. Ordering one that is too small can lead to additional collections, while choosing more capacity than you need may increase the cost. Our team can advise on the most practical option before your booking is confirmed.
Northern Recycling Solutions also provides a wider range of recycling and waste management services for businesses across the Black Isle. These include regular waste collections, hazardous waste disposal, electrical recycling, road sweeping and waste reporting.
Domestic and Commercial Skip Hire Across the Black Isle
Our skips can be used for house clearances, building work, office refurbishments, commercial projects and general site waste. We arrange delivery to a suitable location and collect the skip once it is ready to be removed.
Before ordering, it is important to consider where the skip will be positioned and what materials will be placed inside it. Some waste types require separate handling and should not be mixed with general skip waste. We can explain what can be accepted and advise when another collection service would be more suitable.
For commercial customers, skip hire can also be combined with other recycling and waste services where a site produces several waste streams or requires ongoing support.
Additional Waste Management Services Across the Black Isle
Alongside skip hire, we provide commercial waste collections and specialist recycling services for businesses across the Black Isle. The services below can be arranged individually or combined as part of a wider waste management service.
Skip Hire
Whether you’re clearing a property, carrying out refurbishment work or managing waste from a construction project, having the right skip delivered when it is needed keeps work moving. We supply a range of skip sizes across the Black Isle, with reliable delivery and collection.
Wheelie Bins
We arrange scheduled and on-demand wheelie bin collections for businesses across the Black Isle. Collection frequencies can be matched to the amount of waste produced, helping prevent overflowing bins and unnecessary collections.
Recycling Collections
Recyclable materials often end up in general waste when the correct containers and collections are not in place. We help businesses across the Black Isle separate materials properly and arrange collections that support more effective recycling.
Confidential Waste
Confidential documents should not be placed in general waste. We provide secure containers, scheduled collections and certified document destruction, helping businesses protect sensitive information and meet their responsibilities.
Electrical Waste
Computers, monitors, printers, telephones and other electrical equipment must be disposed of through the correct channels. We collect Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment from businesses across the Black Isle and arrange processing through approved recycling routes.
Waste Clearance
We clear unwanted materials from offices, shops, storage areas, commercial premises and other sites across the Black Isle. Materials are sorted and recycled wherever possible rather than being sent directly to landfill.
Food Waste
Businesses producing food waste must have suitable collection arrangements in place. We collect commercial food waste across the Black Isle and send it for recycling rather than disposal with general waste.
Internal Recycling Stations
Clearly labelled internal recycling stations make it easier for staff and visitors to separate materials correctly. We can supply suitable containers and arrange collections for each waste stream.
Zero Waste
Reducing landfill requires the correct separation, collection and recovery routes. We review how waste is currently managed and identify practical opportunities to recycle or recover more material.
Road Sweeping
Our road sweeping service covers commercial yards, access roads, car parks, construction sites and other working areas across the Black Isle. Modern sweepers help keep sites clear, presentable and safer to use.
Disinfectant Fogging
Where additional hygiene treatment is required, disinfectant fogging can be used across offices, workplaces and other commercial premises to treat larger areas efficiently.
Waste Management Audits
A waste management audit looks at the materials your business produces, how they are separated and where they are sent. This helps identify missed recycling opportunities, unsuitable collection schedules and areas where costs may be reduced.
Waste Reporting
Our waste reports provide clear figures for collection volumes, recycling performance and diversion from landfill. This information can support internal reviews, customer reporting, environmental targets and compliance requirements.
Hazardous Waste
Hazardous waste must be stored, transported and disposed of correctly. We arrange compliant collections across the Black Isle for batteries, fluorescent tubes, chemicals and other controlled materials, using suitable containers and approved disposal routes.
Just across the Cromarty Firth
The Black Isle sits just across the water from our Alness depot, so it’s a short run over the Cromarty Bridge for our vehicles. We cover the whole peninsula: Fortrose, Rosemarkie, Avoch, Munlochy, Culbokie, Cromarty, Tore and North Kessock. That includes everything from holiday lets and cafés to farms and self-build projects.
